Mars Ramos is a mixed-media illustrator from Rhode Island– based in Boston, MA. They are currently pursuing a BFA in Illustration at Massachusetts College of Art and Design. Also an alum of the Jacqueline M. Walsh School for the Visual and Performing Arts and Rhode Island School of Design’s Project Open Door. Mars has exhibited work in gallery spaces around Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Their practice blends mixed-media techniques with unorthodox color palettes to create surrealist, character-driven narratives. Drawing inspiration from horror films and literature, their work often explores themes of the eerie and the uncanny.
